Measuring and reporting pursuant to ISO 3382 using Brüel and Kjaer measuring equipment

To support responsible soundmasking advice, STI Sound also provides sound measurements pursuant to ISO 3382. These measurements accurately chart reverberation time and speech intelligibility between agencies. Moreover, they characterise the acoustics both before and after a change, and compare acoustic characteristics in various spaces. The final report provides an answer to the issue of how work places with the correct soundmasking can be best optimised. For this STI has in-house expertise and uses Brüel and Kjaer measuring equipment – the ultimate standard when dealing with qualitative, high-value sound level meters. Furthermore, DIRAC and RAP-ONE software tools are utilized, which are also used by the BMW car manufacturer in Munich.
