Not every guest will have something on their conscience but even so, it remains unpleasant for the average diner to know their conversation can be heard word for word by the next table. This problem is sometimes resolved by playing music. Personal preference for music shouldn’t therefore play a role. Some restaurants play the one tape o CD for the entire evening. Hardly the ideal solution. There are also various conference rooms which can be hired out at many hotel and catering establishment across the Netherlands. Speech sounds of course need to be combated in these temporary offices too. |
